The Eurosymposium on Healthy Ageing (EHA) is a biannual conference organized for the first time in 2012 by the European non-profit organization Heales (
www.heales.org). This meeting will highlight the cutting-edge of knowledge in the field of biogerontology and provide a unique opportunity for researchers, government officials, biotech executives, and longevity advocates from around the world to meet, network, and forge new scientific collaborations.
Ageing is a very complicated problem and to solve it we must look at it from all directions. Therefore this conference will feature a range of researchers studying aging from molecules in a test tube, up to clinical studies in humans.
The three day conference has a busy schedule with no less than 29 lectures and 3 panel sessions (see:
eha-heales.org/program). The two keynote lectures will be given by prof. Alexander Seifalian (University College London, UK) and prof. David Gems (University College London, UK). As always the third day will be devoted to longevity activism. This year a major goal on the third day is to compose a “Declaration for Longevity”. This will build on the 2014 resolution (available at:
eha-heales.org).
