How A Photographer Captured A Generation Of Ageing

In the summer of 1991, photographer Zed Nelson invited Sue and Frank, new parents he’d met at a party, to visit his studio in London for a photograph with their new-born, Eddie. Though they might not have realised it at the time, this photograph would become a 30-year tradition. Every year, Nelson would take a photograph with the same backdrop, the same lighting, and the same positioning, documenting the family’s lives through a yearly snapshot.
